Hello!

Welcome to my webpage. I have been at Field Club for 13 years, and teaching for 21 years. I am currently the Computer/Technology Facilitator.  I teach Kindergarten through 5th grade in the Computer Lab. We work on different skills at each grade level.

K-We learn to use the various parts of the computer, as well as work on Reading, Writing, Math and various other curriculum areas.

1st Grade- We continue to learn how to use the computer components, we learn the beginning stages of keyboarding and how to print our projects. First graders are busy throughout the year working on Math, Reading, Writing and other curriculum areas.

2nd Grade- Second graders work on using the keyboard, online story creation, Reading, Math and Social Sciences. Second graders work on using PebbleGo to create a project using research from the Library, among many other activities throughout the year.

3rd Grade-Third grade classes spend much of the year learning about Office 365 and Digital Citizenship, as well as keyboarding skills using EduTyping, creating projects in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint online. Students receive grades on their report cards based on their keyboarding skills in the lab.

4th Grade- Students continue to work on Digital Citizenship, using Office 365, writing email and submitting assignments online. One big focus is Keyboarding skills using EduTyping throughout the school year, along with units of study on Native Americans, Nebraska, Research and Science activities.

5thGrade- Students in 5th grade continue to work on Digital Citizenship, using Office 365, writing email and submitting assignments online. The students also work on keyboarding, researching, and publishing using the computers. They work in every subject area, as well as special on-line programs that enhance the classroom learning and compliment the activities in the individual classrooms.

I look forward to another great year.
