My name is Peter Cales and I'm excited to join the Field Club family! I am originally from Winfield, KS, but have lived in Omaha for nearly 20 years. I graduated from Creighton University with a B.A. in English in 2003, and am currently working toward a Master's in Education through the University of Nebraska - Omaha, where I earned my teaching certificate. This will be my first year teaching full-time in Omaha Public Schools. Before entering the education world, I owned a furniture design and art studio and was a mentor through the Joslyn Art Museum's Kent Bellows Studio program. I also formerly supported our state's AmeriCorps service members as a Disability Inclusion and Training Officer. My wife Dora and I have two wonderful girls, Mavis (4) and Edie (1). When I'm not teaching, I love spending time with my family, working on projects in my shop, reading, listening to music and doing yard work. Go Falcons!
